Sonepar Suisse has released the new version of its mobile app today, marking a significant milestone in the digitalization of the electrical trade. The app, now available as an update in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, combines a modern user experience with practical functions – and puts the needs of electricians at the center.

Even before getting up, tradespeople check the new Sonepar Hub to see which deliveries are arriving today, what is still on the way, and what has already arrived. The new Delivery Widget provides this information directly when the app is opened – clearly, compactly, and in real-time.
Functionality that makes everyday life easier.
In addition to the revised user interface and the personal welcome, the app scores with many new functions:
- News area with added value: Discover promotions, product innovations and inspiration for projects directly in the app.
- Unified search function: Whether text, E-number or Eldas – a single search field quickly delivers the right results.
- Dark Mode & modern design: For optimal readability even in poor lighting conditions.
- Multiple shopping carts: Ideal for parallel projects – always synchronized with the webshop.
- Improved offer view: Overview by status, approval with one click.
- Favorite collection locations: Automatically suggested based on webshop settings.
- Homescreen widget: Quick access to scanners, watch lists and orders directly from the start screen.
- Digital delivery notes: Available as PDF – even without opening the package.
- Integrated barcode and QR code scanner: Scan articles directly and place them in the shopping cart.
With the new release, mobile payment is also possible. Apple Pay, Google Pay and credit cards are now integrated directly into the checkout process – another step towards a seamlessly digital customer journey.

The new Sonepar Hub is the result of intensive months, characterized by close collaboration, technical demands, and genuine team spirit. The project was realized together with partner Axperience (for logistics integration) and the ieffects development team.
