A jury of experts has selected the best Swiss Internet retailers and presented the prestigious Digital Commerce Awards following the Connect – Digital Commerce Conference – on May 22 in Zurich. Customers of Winterhalter and Fenner, many of them electricians, can use this professional app to put together their individual product combinations at any time and then trigger the order. You simply swipe between switches, sockets, pushbuttons and the top range, change the color directly, create and edit the desired combination via drag & drop. If required, additional information on the individual components can be displayed. The application is intuitive and works independently of the Internet connection. That means completely offline capable except for sending the order of course. This saves the customer a lot of time, reduces media disruptions and makes the ordering process extremely easy, especially on the construction site.

The KombiTool was initially able to prevail against strong competition and place among the top 5 in two categories. Among the participants were both the big names in the industry and newcomers. The independent and broad-based jury had evaluated almost 150 applications in advance. Experts from Germany and abroad nominated 5 stores per category for the Digital Commerce Award 2019 in a three-stage judging process.
Any Swiss or foreign-operated website or mobile application that sells at least one product or service B2B or B2C to Switzerland through a shopping cart system or mediates a transaction and has a .ch domain was eligible to apply. The Digital Commerce Award is presented annually. With the “Best Feature” award, the jury honored special functionalities and outstanding features. The “B2B Services and Process Integration” category was aimed at companies that operate in the business customer segment and stand out for special process integration and support or outstanding services that have been seamlessly integrated into the existing portfolio.
